Golf Course Superintendent

Dustin Fowler is Tchefuncta Country Club�s Golf Course Superintendent. He worked under former Superintendent, Toby Thornton, for over a year, as assistant Superintendent, where he was able to learn the ins and outs of the course. Prior to Tchefuncta, Dustin was Golf Course Superintendent at Oak Knoll Country Club in Hammond, La for three years after working as assistant superintendent and greens keeper for over 8 years. He started in the turfgrass industry in high school at his hometown course, Franklinton Country Club. He has worked on various golf courses in the area including 2 years at Beau Chene. Dustin�s love for turf management took him from Southeastern University to Penn State, where he completed his advanced turfgrass management certification online while never having to leave his own beloved turf, Louisiana. Dustin fell in love quickly with Tchefuncta�s beauty and is dedicated to making it the best that it can be. With wife, Amanda, and four children, Sadie, Lily, Brooks, and Teddy�s love and support, Dustin is excited to help lead Tchefuncta Country Club into continued progress.
